What is a Galaxy? Galaxies are a grouping of stars that form a sort of spiral shape. Some other galaxies are called weird names like lenticular and elliptical shapes. Our galaxy has life inside of it but, we don't know if any others have life on them but scientists believe that we have other life in our Milky Way Galaxy. There are little one celled creatures that we call aliens that live on our Earth and could live on Mars. Our galaxy I think is not the biggest galaxy out in the Universe because, some of them could get 9 times bigger that our own. I think that that’s crazy but it's true.
Is there any other galaxies that out like ours? Why yes there is but, not exactly like ours because some have longer spirals and are maybe bigger but, the milky way is around 100,000 light years long. Our galaxy is the only galaxy that in my time that we will stay in but, maybe in the future we will get out and see what the galaxies are like
Theories:
The big bang, God , competing theory all great ideas. They all have their own way to be. The universe is a endless pit of stars, planets, galaxies, black holes, and things we don't even know about; how did these come to our space? Well no one knows because there are thousands of people that came up with these theories. Some people might recognize these; the big bang, God, and the competing theory.
Let’s see what the big bang was all about. The big bang was a spontaneous explosion
That created everything we know. Some scientist say that the big bang was a black hole exploding bringing thousands of rocks and stars together which made the universe; But that’s just one of the meanings of the big bang. Another was that earth existed a long time ago made by "god" and a big explosion made the earth shrink in size which made it dead. Another earth was formed after that happened by "god" those are some of the things that fit into the story.
The ancient Greek people found this universe and what things are inside of it so they came up with something called Cosmological it is the study of the universe and everything inside of it. Back in the day people were worried about getting tossed off the earth because it was round but then people found out about gravity so which sparkled a little science into their eyes So people started to look around the universe and see what’s out there. I personally believe that the big bang is the best because it has the most proof with the idea and there is no proof of god.
